Where Do Worms Go in Summer?
2025年7月12日
When summer is hot, worms hide! They don’t like the warm sun.
So, they dig down, down, down into the cool soil
Worms help the soil by moving dirt and making little tunnels.
These tunnels help water and air reach plant roots.
Even when we can’t see them, worms are working hard!
Where do you think a worm might go if it had a tiny backpack?

Questions:
1. Why do worms dig down in summer?
2. How do worms help the soil?
3. What would you put in a worm’s backpack for summer?
